@phunehehe just tested: I mv .vim* and try. when ':syntax on' it lags. kkkkk and I've to wait 2sec before seeing my cursor 5 lines up!

!vim with syntax enable use lot of CPU and it becomes hard to scroll, move or insert! is there way to avoid that (other than syntax off)?
