@dper I don't actually use Evolution/Thunderbird/Kontact though, so YMMV, but the (graphical!) Android editing+sync works great.

@dper the exported .vcf file includes photos (I just tried it, the photo gets base64-encoded, the rest of it is still plain text editable)

@dper Evolution is graphical, as is your Android. Then there is KDE Kontact via the kcarddav plugin, Thunderbird via Sogo-Connector
