well, if copyright law did not exist, everything published would be in a true public domain right?

I think we can get 4 or 5 for *possession* of a non authorised copy of a dvd or cd.

we really need to drop the words stealing and piracy wrt copyright violations unless stealing or piracy actually occur.

If they would use a Free license, perhaps there would not be as much to worry about.

If we could find a way to give standing to "users" of copyleft programs, enforcement might get spread around more and thus easier.

speaking for myself and not this effort: because existing licenses don't protect as needed and it affects creativity & productivity.

not good to promote that lame "nothing to hide" thought. having something to hide does not equal wrongdoing.

if they do return it again, say you will sue as they lied when they said they were returning it the first time. etc.

then send them another saying the one they returned got lost in the mail but was very important. ask them to return it again.
