“People aren't giving up on politics because someone else believes the administration has failed to achieve almost all of its stated objectives. People are giving up on politics because they've been led to believe they have to vote for "the lesser evil" extremists from the twin parties instead of finding a 3rd party candidate that is more likely to represent their interests.”

Informal discussions at work today that just skirted the line on the Hatch Act came down to characterizing Mrs. Clinton as a criminal and Mr. Trump as a cartoon character akin to a Yosemite Sam overdosing on PCP/Angel Dust. What offends us at work is we know there is no valid reason Mrs. Clinton is a free person today as any of us who did exactly what she did would be imprisoned after an extremely brief and almost perfunctory trial with stiffer mandatory minimum sentences than were possible for her. Mr. Trump wouldn't pass a Public Trust security investigation at this point which is one of the lowest possible for a civil servant to face.

Helping the situation is somewhat barred in my respect unless I give up my job and quite a bit more. Of course, that depends upon how one defines "helping".
