@n8@identi.ca Well, I'm not at work yet so I'll gently say a couple things.  The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, as amended, didn't do much to make care affordable or protect patients.  It was tied to the use of congressional spending power which hobbled it.  For a goodly chunk of the enforcement cases that cross my queue, it damages people financially even when its programs tried to help.  While there are some limited successes, more harm was done than good.  Data shows we're still collecting a couple billion dollars in the  Individual Shared Responsibility Payment at work so people are still flouting the rules even now.  Due to an utter lack of will on the part of Democrats for the past several years to amend the thing to make it work right after the lead agency had identified serious problems all we've got left is repeal and replace.
