I'm watching C-SPAN.  Eddie Berniece Jackson & Sheila Jackson Lee both were ranting about the Tax Bill's impact on higher ed.  Both claimed the bill will DESTROY higher ed.  How about higher ed is going to be forced into a paradigm shift and be forced to adapt to new circumstances?  Considering how higher ed costs inexorably rise in direct relation to increases in tuition supports on either end, this will drive change by ending the endless gravy train for endlessly multiplying administrators.
