And so it goes

Tomorrow is a day off for most of my co-workers. Monday is always a day off for me as I voluntarily reduced myself from full-time status to part-time status for sanity's sake. My job is enough of an emotional rollercoaster.

I wasn't at work Friday. Instead, I was home being sick to my stomach again. Stress got to me. Thursday saw me clearing 76 calls in 8 hours from angry, nasty people who accused me of lying to them and deceiving them. I wasn't. I don't have orders to do so. I have no incentive to do so. When the one dude big on microaggressions said I was threatening him by reading a notice back to him to try to explain it to him...I kinda got upset. The illiterate fellow that I had to literally spell things out to got me worried.

And then I find out that I was supposed to have a pay grade increase but it got lost in processing, was put in with wrong date, and was late too. Apparently it was due on Christmas Day. Now I'll be getting hit with retroactive back pay some time in late March or early April.

I'm trying to hang on and am not doing so good this year. My last medical review didn't go well. My job is on the chopping block potentially with this new president, too.

If interested in putting me on to other work, please write with ideas/financial contributions to:

And no, there is no e-mail address or fax number. Worst came to worst, they could try to prep me for resuming faculty status somewhere. That would require picking up a few more graduate-level credits. The best would be keeping me around as their deployable responder to aid other congregations in need.
