I am still on-duty with the service. Strangely enough, things are just messy. We do not know if we will have furlough. We do not know if we are going to be funded in the new fiscal year for our positions. The President is still a bit of a loose warhead so we can still get weird orders yet. The local job market is also distressed. Not only is the future uncertain, it is unknown. Each coming day is going to be a new adventure. I will be still playing defense rather than going on offense.
