Where Are We Going?

In No Particular Order:

➡ I'm glad 2021 is coming to an end.

➡ The kinda-sorta vodcast is running at https://coyote.works/ for the time being. We're shooting for January 2022 to begin producing local programming to air. Right now we're dumping things from the Prelinger Archive down the chute.

➡ The only regular radio quiz on NPR currently in production is Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! and that is sad. I was a latecomer to finding Says You! via WYSU-FM and find it to be more my speed. Sadly it ended production of first-run episodes. The other NPR quiz show, Ask Me Another, saw its production terminated back in September.

➡ Live-streaming services at church is getting rough. We had 20-25% dropped frames this morning just five minutes into service. We wound up dropping the live feed and then uploaded the local recording after the in-person service concluded. Although the guide from OBS notes at its very end to look at your hardware from the ISP I had spent part of Saturday night at the church building with a technician from the ISP. Apparently the cable drop from the street to the building had suffered wildlife damage as well as damage from the gale force winds event the weekend prior. I thought we had gotten things fixed thing but I may be wrong.

➡ And apparently schools in the Ashtabula Area City School District are closed Monday due to an undisclosed online threat per The Star Beacon

➡ I have medical appointments growing in number.

➡ I'm still trying to figure out what may drive 2022 for me. There's currently nothing really in play at the moment.
