I am a horrible person
At least according to my many callers, it appears. I certainly have been getting an earful lately. Many, many angry people have been calling us at work. We're actually getting higher than normal call volumes right now at the IRS and we have no idea why.

I know. Fortunately I haven't had to make Potentially Dangerous Taxpayer or Caution Upon Contact referrals yet. I suspect we're going to have quite a bit of "resistance" to people paying their lawful obligations next year. Our liens and levies unit will probably be busy.
