The Domestic Mission Field Activity at West Avenue Church of Christ is something I take actions under. Despite the hyper-bureaucratic name, it is our missions work. Currently we are doing outreach at a local nursing home called Saybrook Landing. The Activity provides church services there twice a month. It is probably some of the biggest contact the participating residents have with the outside world when we get to come in and minister to them. It is also a shoestring field op.
