Also, Bangladesh is culturally (probably ethnically as well) different from Pakistan. Other than being predominantly Muslim, the two populations have little in common. Bangldeshis have more in common with the predominantly Hindu (West) Bengalis in India than they do with Pakistanis -- the names in the story are indistinguishable from Indian Bengali names.
