There's a "comment" button/link at the bottom of your comment, @jankusanagi, and the email notification I got pointed me at https://identi.ca/jankusanagi/activity/-2DLl-3zSliDzH0E06OK4Q which doesn't embed or have a link to its parent, so I had not figured out that I should avoid using the "comment" link/button on your comment in order to conform to how this platform wants threading of comments to work -- I'll try to remember to hand-navigate back to the parent comment in order to keep threads orderly, but I'll probably forget sometimes.

I think "microblogging" is wide enough to include the kind of thing you're talking about re: pump.io but it sounds like you have a pretty set opinion so I won't try to persuade you!
