Dear lazyweb, I would like to know a place where I can ask newbie questions about encryption (GnuPG, mainly).

For example:

Q1.- I need to send an encrypted message to several people. I use Icedove+Enigmail. If I write their addresses in the ““To:” field, is Enigmail intelligent enough to send several mails, each one encrypted with the corresponding key? Ir the message is encrypted with all of them, and none will be able to read it? Should I send manually one message per recipient ir can I change Enigmail's behavior? What about several addresses with different encryption keys, but belonging to the same person?

Q2.- Is there a way to unencrypt +backup all my mail archive at once, so I can save a copy of all the mails in a dvd, for archive purposes, for the case that my keys become unusable? (Let's say, I loose my keys and the backups)?

Q3.- I use GnuPG in Debian Jessie with a main key in a USB stick in a safe place, and subkeys stored in a FSFE SmartCard. What files of my .gnupg folder should I move to another PC to be able to (only) read/send encrypted email in it? (It seems that installing GnuPG and enigmail and trying to use the SmartCard is not enough… or should it be enough and my setup is not correct?

I don't mind if it's IRC or XMPP chat rooms, or mailing lists. But I wouldn't like to bother developers wit my probably frequent newbie questions…
