Carrie has done that for me a couple times in the past month. There's a plant right above my laptop, which I have on a riser, with paper and such under. The plant has fell a couple times while she's been watering it.... luckily nothing critical has been damaged.

been there... a few times.
one day my kids knocked over my (full) glass of water twice a few hours apart. The computer was mostly fine, but some of the USB ports and front switches were shorted and started causing random reboots and shutdowns. I ended up having to replace a few things.
