TBH I'm feeling demoralized on standards, because goalposts keep getting moved. Feels like obstruction, and I'm depressed.
I don't know quite that situation but I understand feeling obstructed by moving goalposts and getting down over that. Reminds me of a manager who would suggest re-formatting my project page every time I started to get traction, and encourage others to add to scope creep.
