Holy damn, this article on 4chan and the rise of Trump hits many nails on the head and left me feeling queasy.
I think there's a generational thing here... one of the scariest things about watching the 4chan-wing of Trump's rise is finding it totally baffling and being close enough to that "internet culture" to feel sickeningly able to understand how it grew, even out of a shared primordial soup of internet culture from which I strongly diverged in a different direction.
