my indexer always starts suspended (I think since !KDE 4.7.x) - what setting can I change to make it start on?

@djotaku Desktop Search->Basic Setings Tab->Nepomuk Desktop File Indexer (check box)->Apply. This should make the trick

@djotaku IIRC it's intentional because people complained about it and there may be an option to enable indexing login in later releases.

With activities, I stopped using virtual desktops. But lately I don’t use activities that much either. Funny how things turned out :) !kde

@gallaecio With Icon Tasks, I stopped using virtual desktops, but I never had several work spheres to need Activities.
