One annoying thing that AC does on their flights is broadcast ads after their safety video. Worse is due to the bilingual nature of Canada, you get double the ads!

However, on my recent flight, the flight attendant who queued the safety video intervened and stopped playback when the ads came on! I wonder if that was some operational violation but I certainly welcomed it!
