Wow! My AC flights completely had no ads!

Typically, they would annoyingly have ads playing after the safety video unless the flight attendant mercifully (not sure if they are supposed to but I'm sure they're annoyed by it too) terminates broadcast. The IFE would also have (at least skippable) ads playing prior to content.

However, this time there were no post-safety video ads and no pre-content IFE ads! It seems they completely removed all ads! Hopefully, this is a permanent change!
