Have you taken into account climate change (sea level is raising) and peak oil (it will be more difficult to get supplies from outside an island) to make that choice?

I wouldn't choose an island to live, no matter how big it can be. And climate change is hitting Australia specially hard right now. But if I had to live in one I would choose Iceland or Greenland in an unknown future or New Zealand to live there right now.

I knew a pandemic was a possibility I hoped I would never live, yet here we are, in the middle of one sooner than I expected, for instance.
