Yess I see what you mean.. bunch on chmod errors here and as it is a Fuse File system it'll be problematic is something running as another user is trying to touch it.

Sadly I'm too tired and dullheaded right now to go digging for a solution. But it's not you.. or your set up.. its Fuse and probably how Android/whatever interprets permissions

Hmm.. make that MTP + Fuse +android.. Seems MTP doesn't allow a bunch of normalish FS stuff.. just tried to do a 'shred' and was told "failed to open for writing: operation not supported"
