BTW, if I may suggest, it'd be great if your program didn't depend on distribution-specific stuff. In case that GtkPopover is, which I don't know.

Well, it has not yet landed in Ubuntu, it is new to GTK+3.12, and is not
distribution dependent, the only think that is needed is GTK+3.12.
It will take time, and I think that it will be in the GNOME PPA sooner than in main-line Ubuntu, and by the time GPump is finished GTK3.12 will probably be in main-line Ubuntu, as it is in Arch, Gentoo(?), Fedora, and many more already,
