I just added a "Symbols" submenu under the "Formatting" menu in Dianara.
It allows users to insert a few unicode symbols like♫ or✔.
If you use the development version of Dianara and try it, let me know if you see all 7 symbols correctly, and if there's any "semi-standard" symbol you think should be added ;)
