is it a figgy pudding?

Made without a recipe, and I have never eaten one before, so dunno. All I know is, this is sinfully delicious:
1 quart of my dad's homegrown dried figs, rehydrated in a cheap merlot and quartered
2 eggs
twice as much unsalted butter as makes sense
a pinch of salt
1/3rd or so cup of dark honey
1 small nutmeg, grated
flour added until it resembles pancake batter
Cooked in a dutch oven with lid on for 2 hours or so.
Bonus recipe: Fill a cast iron skillet with kale, and top with lots of asparagus, lightly salted and olive oiled. Crispy kale with roasty asparagus, where have you been all my life?
I'd need a version of the recipe with a high-butter mark to avoid a butter overflow.

"twice as much unsalted butter as makes sense" -- what's that in ISO units? I've never gotten hang of imperial units in cookbooks.
