old-skool low power mode

No sun since Sunday, volts are getting scarce around here. Working mostly offline but this evening have jacked my modem right into the laptop to avoid running wifi.

Perhaps one of those stationary bikes to pedal & generate electricity would be helpful so as to charge up batteries during times like this.
wish i could find efficient speakers
(wish I still had those old speakers I had years ago - they don't seem to make anything with decent spl per watt these days!)
