I would also like to see this happen. Canonical distributes proprietary software, in addition to some of their other actions, like requiring a CLA that allows for proprietary relicensing. I'm not very fond of them as a result, although it's not Canonical-specific: It might not be a bad thing if a similar fate happened to all that distribute proprietary software.
