James Dyson (of @Dyson) makes some interesting but unobjectionable
observations in this interview with @dgelles of the @NYTimes... and gets
thrown under the thought-police bus. (Did our Glorious Party issue new
rules this week?) /cc @jeffubois @ninapaley

McClane likes this.
It seems pretty clear from the context that he was objecting to the
trend of plastic surgery among (some) Japanese to make their noses more
"Western", and saying that he would prefer physical differences between
groups to be left as they are. This is not a horrible opinion.
The go back and re-read the interviewer's introduction. The lack of
good faith is breathtaking; it crosses the line from searching for
offense (which would be bad enough) to creating offense where there was
none.
