I try to avoid calling elected officials "evil", really I do. There are legitimate differences of opinion, disagreements in philosophy of government, etc.
But... I just... Why does Gov. Ron DeSantis (FL) want *so badly* to prevent people from voting?
If you weren't following this closely: this was a statewide ballot initiative that won with 64.5% of the vote. That is not a small margin. The spirit and the text of the amendment were crystal clear. Ron DeSantis is blocking what Floridians voted for.
