Very intrigued & excited by https://www.gnu.org/software/guix/, after @cwebber's *excellent* talk on it at @chicagolug: http://dustycloud.org/misc/talks/guix/chicagolug_2015/guix_talk.html

Read the notes/slides and that's a really awesome and comprehensive presentation on Guix *and* some important tangents. Did you (@cwebber) do all of it, or is this a general base and you pick and choose based on audience?
@Claes Wallin (韋嘉誠) I gave the whole talk; you're right that it's a ton of content, I was slotted to give two talks but just gave this one. I don't regret that, but it does mean I will pair things down for future presentations.
I am really happy with how clear the content of the presentation in this iteration was. I suspect there's no way to give it at this level of clarity without also keeping this level of length. In this way, podcasts or screencasts will be really useful.
I agree, all the stuff I see in there is relevant, anything shorter will have to make compromises. And the way I infer that you present it probably makes the LUG kind of audience stay interested throughout.
