Journalists, commentators, and politicians are finally using the word "bribery" (good, because it was), but they still almost always botch the direction. Trump didn't try to bribe Ukrainian President Zelensky. Trump *solicited* a bribe *from* Zelensky.

It was seeing this related post on @TPM that reminded me how frustrating it is that so many people in prominent positions do such an astonishingly poor job of explaining what is basically a simple case of soliciting a bribe.
