Being actively involved in politics, or just reading the news, can be really de-motivating, de-pressing, and de-meaning. This can't be good.
You just need to have a mindset of seeing this a motivation to work even harder: our activism is needed now more than ever! But I hear you, I struggle with this too, and I'm not particularly actively involved...
