in nearly all of my posts on identi.ca, over the past several months, I have explicitly removed Followers from Cc: under the incorrect belief that this would make the posts public. that one you mention was probably a mistaken exception. I have announced every GNU Linux-libre release here expecting the announcements to be public. that's more than one post per week.
