The absurdity of academic publishing (and of states of minds) reaching its heights... I asked a scientist for a copy of his paper because a publisher that published the paper wouldn't let me read it unless I pay. Therefore I'd kindly asked the scientist if he can email me a copy, and he's response is that he doesn't have it!
