if it was an announcement about an upcoming public event and there was a way to mark up the event date and city/region I certainly would put the name of the event in the title.

is it because it is data that isnt about who but rather about more useful stuff like what/when/where/etc?
lets not allow any cartels/monopolies to hijack all the useful things leaving everyone else with only the relatively boring who stuff
