Hey @faif your last two posts haven't been to public. And you haven't posted about http://faif.us/cast/2014/jul/18/0x49/ yet stated a concern about audience size at the end. ;-)

re that show 1) happy to hear @copiesofcopies stating that 'people should self-host' is an elitist + inadequate stance (or some similar words; btw will he come back to this free software-based federated social website that he doesn't host ;-)) 2) my memory is dim but I seem to recall anti-DMCA activism before it was passed 3) interesting that RMS says most important skill now is reverse engineering.
ps having listened to the 2014 FOSDEM legal devroom talks, I'd enjoy an analysis-only show covering all of them. @tmarble would make a good guest for that one.

Definitely not a chide and btw an aside not meant to distract from happiness.

;) Thanks! I'm happy to say that my talk (and MAYBE something something Snowden) kicked off a lot of interest in securing user data on third-party systems. Still few competitive platforms are free software. I'm coming around to thinking that cooperatives where users share the costs of administering free, federated tools (like what Riseup and Calyx Institute are trying to do) are the most realistic way forward.
