Your subscribers will not know. They'll just stop reading you.
I'm looking at you, Planet Ubuntu, Planet SUSE, and Kernel Planet.

And who knows how many others, because I don't have the time to manually re-check every feed URL I've ever subscribed to on a regular basis, just to see whether it's been altered.
Because that's the opposite of syndication.
