DRM Time at the Apollo
So ... Cory Doctorow is rejoining the EFF to work on a project called "Apollo 1201" that aims to dismantle DRM on Constitutional grounds over the next ten years.
Apparently this happened a while abo, which I didn't hear about. Nor was I able to find much information about "Apollo 1201" since it does not appear to be part of the EFF web site nor have an online presence of its own.
Luckily, Doctorow happened to be at SCALE in Los Angeles last weekend talking about it, so I was able to write it up: https://lwn.net/SubscriberLink/673403/c26d549d962feb6a/
I still don't understand why the EFF isn't promoting this project itself, though.

Correction; there is one page at EFF.org about Apollo 1201: the Online Shop page where you can buy an Apollo-1201 iron-on patch: https://supporters.eff.org/shop/apollo-1201-iron-patch

Patches are cool, I guess... But I hope they make some stickers! They've also got this page, which has the makings of a good bumper sticker? https://www.eff.org/homepage-feature/cory-doctorows-new-project-apollo-1201
