I think one or two notices about Ubuntu 11.10 beta being released is enough. No need to keep spamming the group with announcements !ubuntu2011-08-27T07:23:35+00:00 in London, England, United Kingdom via Turpial To: Ubuntu users, Public
Finally got !Ubuntu 11.10 running on a VM. It was a bit shaky at first but after updating, it runs smootly with 'some' occasional errors2011-08-27T14:02:12+00:00 in New Eltham, England, United Kingdom via web To: Linux, Public
Trying out !Gentoo as I'm the adventurous type, but does it have to compile 'everything'? !Linux2011-08-26T19:55:10+00:00 in London, England, United Kingdom via Turpial To: Ubuntu users, Public
In my world, one has to use/experience a thing b4 you can say if it's a good/bad thing..stop bashing Unity/11.10 without trying it !Ubuntu2011-08-22T09:27:44+00:00 in New Eltham, England, United Kingdom via web To: Arch Linux, Public

Pulseaudio is great for surround sound on a PC/Laptop, very straight-forward and easy to configure unlike dmix with alsa !Archlinux@okubax Cool. It's good to hear positive things about PA. It's worked for me for years (at least since I stopped using Ubuntu).2011-08-11T17:14:15+00:00 in New Eltham, England, United Kingdom via web To: Arch Linux, Public
Open Question: Is running 32-bit !ArchLinux on a 64-bit machine more stable than running a 64-bit version?2011-08-09T07:27:31+00:00 in New Eltham, England, United Kingdom via web To: Arch Linux, Public
Is it just me or is !ArchLinux a tiny bit unstable on multi-core systems? A kernel panic every now and then, doesn't happen on single core@okubax never kernel panicked here on a core 2 duo..@okubax To add a data point: I'm running x86_64 archlinux on a i5, which is a dual core cpu. No stability problems here.2011-07-23T19:16:39+00:00 in London, England, United Kingdom via Choqok To: Arch Linux, Public
