Agree with the analysis. Have some disagreement with the final paragraph (elections are another rigged - capitalist - game).


I find shocking the statement "If socialism is defined as “ownership of the means of production by the workers” […] then the United States is the first truly ‘Socialist’ country". I couldn't find an online copy of Peter Drucker's book (didn't look it up long enugh, either) but for what I read in the article I think he's referring to pension funds shares workers (think they) have and comparing the supposed power those shares give to workers. In what universe that Peter Drucker's statment would be true? What happened with slavery, first in ti's original form and later in paid form (robbery)?
