Also went through about 6 call centre staff as they tried to get me to download a remote desktop client. Shame GNOME opens ".exe" files with Archive Manager and not Wine.
I admit I called them on their scam about 39 minutes in, but by that point they'd already started saying they would "Fix the issue our end" and I needn't do anything.
Maybe next time I will let them into a ReactOS VM that can't get to some random sites, like PayPal, Amazon, bank sites, etc ...
