I agree with Drew, and also use a similar setup. The X200 has been a very reliable device for me also, and when maxed out with RAM and an SSD drive, isn't dramatically different to more recent devices (excluding 3D performance of course).
And the lower cost means it's not such a stretch to own more than one, for redundancy or so you can simply shuttle the hard drive around.
