Why can't people just name their children after entire football teams like normal folk?
In an interview, the judge (who sounds to be a fundamentalist Christian) said that it was legal in her view for Hispanics to name their children Jesús. The "Messiah" decision is likely to be reversed by a higher court for judicial error of some type.
Sounds like it's for the judge's own good. I can't see how a baby would really be impacted much by a name like that (or anything else, really). Babies spend a lot of time sleeping and then occasionally cry.
