Just picked this 499 gram (1 pound 1.6 ounce) tomato. Probably will be the biggest one this season. It's a pinkish variety my Grandma got from an old friend.
I'm jealous. Bowerbirds ate all my tomatoes before they could ripen. Will net them next year.
Sorry to hear Dylan, that's demoralising when your produce goes to waste! Cheeky birds. For what it's worth, my mother-in-law gave us an enormous plastic owl... that does absolutely nothing to deter the birds.
