Uh! a chance to rant on one of my pet peeves! :D

I'm also in the camp that herbal teas should be called with a different name than tea-plant based teas, and I'm a heavy drinker of both,

In italian there is a still-used word for those (tisana), and I'd like it to remain in use; in english I guess that the english-speaking people have decided for herbal tea, and I guess that's ok, as long as the "herbal" remains.

What *really* bugs me, however, is being in a B&B or a Cafe, trying to have breakfast, asking for a tea and getting a tray with a variety of herbal tea bags, and just one, usually in the range of horrible to meh, bag of real, caffeinated tea which would be the natural thing to drink in the context.

I'm not asking for fancy loose-leaf stuff¹, but at least a couple of varieties — and enough bags of each variety that two people can decide to drink the same — would be appreciated.

The joys of living in a non-tea-drinking country, I guess…

¹ I have it in my handbag, anyway, because this has happened too often: I buy empty disposable bags and fill them with semi-fancy loose leaf tea (and herbal tea, actually) to carry when travelling. Because http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20160422
