best !emacs decision I've made in a while: binding capslock to hippie-expand. http://ur1.ca/c3hvx
@wgreenhouse when I’m at a normal keyboard, my capslock is set to ctrl - that saves my pinkies :)2012-11-28T02:05:32+00:00 To: Public
The common law is a bit like UNIX: small incremental hacks pretending they're a system. In both cases, big problems take a while to solve.2012-11-05T05:42:23+00:00 To: Public

#libertarian anti-Fed types, pls explain: 1) commodity markets still mostly use USD; 2) bond traders mostly hold T-notes. Can't be so bad.2012-07-23T12:51:39+00:00 To: emacs, Public
Have you heard of #Elnode? It's a new event-driven (nodejs-like) asynchronous !Emacs webserver. Check it. http://b1t.it/bOir2012-07-12T15:39:43+00:00 To: Public

@coyo I also think states don't have rights, people do. states' rights in .us federalism often attack personal liberty (e.g. slavery).2012-05-04T16:50:16+00:00 To: Coyo Stormbringer, Public
@coyo anarcho-syndicalist/libertarian socialist. I think personal liberties are often at odds with the rights of money to do as it pleases.2012-04-25T17:53:49+00:00 To: Greg Grossmeier, Pete Daniels, Public
@greg @pete the most charitable explanation IMHO is that he exploited bigotry to boost sales of his investment newsletter. otherwise...
@wgreenhouse boosting sales through bigotry is an unethical act, thus, I can't trust him with much. @pete ?2012-04-25T17:48:52+00:00 To: Greg Grossmeier, Pete Daniels, Public
@greg @pete I recommend starting with http://ur1.ca/93jx5 re: the original articles and http://ur1.ca/93jx9 re: what he knew and when.2012-02-23T14:46:40+00:00 To: Yasen Pramatarov, Public
@turin actually, combined with Orbot (Tor+privoxy+transparent proxying for android), a "real distro" on device is a good mitigation tactic.
@wgreenhouse ok, and what about hardware security? Keyloggers etc. One has to trust a separate keyboard & screen -- no issue with laptops.2012-02-21T17:47:11+00:00 To: sdp, Public
@sdp in !debian, this can also be accomplished with "dpkg-reconfigure console-setup"voted for "Other (Please List!)"
