Dear #lazyweb is it me or there's a significant shortage of introductory books on #FreeSoftware, especially for non "technical" readers?

There's definitely a lack of them. It's hard to evangelize without "official looking" material to back you up.

@Laura: the point here is a book which can be a single source for all these topics, from the POV of an ordinary citizen...
@zack It's not possible to understand free software with a single source!
