The mail notifications include both a link to the comment and to the parent post. Unless you're seeing the plaintext version of it.
Thanks for pointing that out. I use Mutt so I'm seeing the plain text version of it, although there is no reason why that should matter.
Well, there is no reason, but the fact is that the plaintext version is simpler. There's an open issue about that.
I use Mutt too, but I see the HTML versions piped via Elinks.
(not that it matters to me, since I never, ever use the web interface :p)
I have Mutt use Elinks automatically for messages that only contain a HTML component, but I assume messages with a plain-text component means there was deliberate intention to support plain text. The HTML version should be the same message just with HTML formatting. It's definitely an issue.
