A small note to just one part of your post: Warren very likely doesn't *want* to be a Vice President. She's effective in the legislature and I'm not sure it would actually achieve any additional policy goals to turn her into a VP.

@brainwane@identi.ca that is what Warren has said in the past, she can be more effective in the Senate than she can be while running for national office. I think it leaves her open to be more effective and outspoken both before and after the election
