They used a tool to convert the schematic to Verilog? That's pretty hardcore. I want to read up on this later.

interesting .. even schematics there (lots of ttl chips - what year was that? ... mentions of pdp11 - is it related to those?

the first time I played with a shell prompt as a kid was on a pdp11 (at a uni open day - was too young to be a student in 1981 but that day got to play with Unix)
